The Marathon du Médoc trip was a few days in Bordeaux built around how we like to travel: good wine, good food, and fellow wine lovers. Producer visits, long lunches, late dinners, and bottles opened with time and context set the tone, before the main event. The race itself winds 26 miles through the Médoc, past châteaux, music, and wine stops, turning the run into a moving celebration of the region. Costumes were worn, pace was optional, and the emphasis stayed firmly on shared experience.
