Cascina Vano is a deeply rooted Barbaresco estate shaped by five generations of the Rivetti family, with a long-standing reputation for clarity, restraint, and fidelity to place. Based in Neive, the heart of the operation sits among some of the most reliable vineyard land in the appellation, supported by additional parcels in Barbaresco, Mango, and Neviglie.

The estate farms around 15 hectares in total, with production kept deliberately modest. This scale allows close attention in the vineyard and a focused, classical approach in the cellar. The style is traditional without heaviness, prioritising balance, aromatic definition, and longevity rather than early impact.

The Barbaresco 2021 is a pure expression of the appellation, built around red fruit, dried florals, and fine-grained tannins, with freshness and structure working in tandem. The Barbaresco Riserva Il Pilone 2021 is drawn from a more serious site and extended ageing, delivering greater depth, precision, and long-term cellar potential.
